NFPA 1500 standard: 35 μg/m³ (24h avg)
Indoor air quality: 500 ppb (WHO guideline)
PM2.5 — Fine particulate matter. NFPA 1500 Section 10.1 requires departments to limit diesel exhaust exposure. AFG grant applications reference these thresholds.
TVOC — Total Volatile Organic Compounds. Elevated TVOC indicates diesel exhaust, off-gassing from materials, or combustion byproducts.
